『To connect people mind all.over the world』

(800~1500字でまとめていただく様式です。)

People around the world must now protect the planet they live on. To do so, everyone needs to join hands and help each other without regard to race, ethnicity, or gender. However, not so long ago and even today, there exist many problems such as wars between countries, conflicts due to ethnic differences, and discrimination due to different skin color.
In order to protect the earth, in other words, to protect the environment, we must solve the problems I have just mentioned. I think that what is needed to solve these problems is music.
I thought that by spreading music, we could promote social cohesion, cross-cultural understanding, and communication, and stimulate emotions and imagination. I believe that these would lead to solutions to the 17 goals of the SDGs: No. 4(Ensure inclusive and equitable quality education and promote lifelong learning opportunities for all), No. 5(Achieve gender equality and empower all women and girls), No. 10(Reduce inequality within and among countries), and No. 16(Promote peaceful and inclusive societies for sustainable development, provide access to justice for all and build effective, accountable and inclusive institutions at all levels). I come up with the idea of first, translating a simple Japanese song into the common language of English or other languages, or putting the message I wanted to convey to everyone into the original rhythm, and second, uploading the translated song to social media such as YouTube and Twitter. By doing so, people in other countries might be able to listen to or sing the uploaded songs. Furthermore, people who hear the song may spread the song on social media. And this could be sung by many people all over the world. This could connect people all over the world with happiness. But in some point, it may be a failure. For example, if in some countries should not like the rhythm of Japanese songs, they would not spread the song on social media. In addition, they may even hate the country of Japan because of that song. If such problem occurs, the achievement of the SDGs will be far from certain. In order to avoid such a situation, we must seek the cooperation of several people. First, someone who can concisely summarize the message we want to convey to a large number of people, second, someone who can create a melody that is full of originality and has a rhythm that is uniquely Japanese, and finally, someone who can sing the song with all his/her heart.
As I have stated above, I think we should create a lot of songs, and connect our people heart one around the world. Through doing so, we may well achieve our ‘Sustainable Development Goals’. And achieving the SDGs is the first step toward enriching the lives of all human beings living on the planet today. This is something that must be realized not only for us, but also for the future, for the people living on the planet we now inhabit, to live safely, comfortably, and happily.
