Kyoto City has established the "Kyoto Declaration for the Construction of a Sustainable Urban Civilization" and is promoting initiatives to realize a decarbonized and nature-inclusive society through organizations like the Environmental Conservation Activity Promotion Association. They also conduct SDGs awareness activities as part of their citizen charter promotion projects.
