I believe that this first e-learning session greatly deepened my understanding about SDGs. Even though I have had the basic knowledge already before reading document, it taught me even more new terms (ex ESG investment), detailed goals and targets of SDGs. Also, I really enjoyed learning how Japan has been making the progress and policies so far to contribute to the increase in the awareness of the SDGs nationally. Surprisingly Japan still has a low recognition of SDGs (which is 49%) but as the globalization and urbanization continues this topic will surely be the main topic of discussion in the future, so I think it would help my learning in a long-term. Thank you!
