I think that there are various problems around the world, such as poverty and food loss. Therefore, I think we must cooperate with the whole world to solve the problem. Therefore, SDGs "Sustainable Development Goals" are currently being implemented all over the world. The Sustainable Development Goals are international development goals for sustainable development consisting of 17 global goals, 169 success criteria and 232 indicators. The SDGs are the successors to the MDGs and were listed in the September 2015 United Nations Summit's2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development.It is a universal goal by 2030 that aims to realize a sustainable and better society. Unlike the MDGs, which were the goals for developing countries, the SDGs are positioned as something that all countries, including developed countries, should work on. Including the governments of each country, companies and various organizations in each country are working on the SDGs. In Japan as well, the government established the "SDGs Promotion Headquarters" in 2016 to promote efforts toward the goal of the SDGs．The SDGs Promotion Headquarters has formulated SDGs implementation indicators. -A revision is being made that analyzes the efforts of "what kind of issues are there in Japan" and "what should be prioritized among the 17 goals of the SDGs". The current situation is that various efforts are being promoted and implemented toward the achievement of the SDGs based on public-private partnerships. In this way, various initiatives centered on the SDGs are being continuously carried out in Japan and around the world. For example, Kyowa Kirin is also making efforts to achieve the goals of the SDGs through value-addedmanagement and CSV management that can be shared with society. The content of our efforts includes human rights, workplace creation, environment, and consumer issues. Kyowa Kirin is engaged in these various initiatives. Although companies may be able to work on it, I think it is also important for individuals to work toward achieving the SDGs. We believe that the world will surely change as each of us acts with awareness of the SDGs.The SDGs are not limited to the efforts of large organizations such as countries and companies. The actions of each person living on the earth to achieve the SDGs are regarded as important. In order for each person to consciously work on the SDGs, it is important to first understand the SDGs correctly and to have an attitude of doing what they can do in their daily lives. Since the SDGs are positioned as a global goal, at first glance they may seem magnificent and have nothing to do with us. Certainly, even if the behavior of only one person changes, the impact on society may not be great.But what if each and every one of us becomes aware of the SDGs and acts? If many people work and act, the world will change dramatically. In this way, in order to achieve the SDGs, it is important for each person to act independently based on educational activities by the national government and companies.
