Now, corona virus is infested around the world. It scared the economy so much. In America, they locked down the country, and they banned going out without permission. As a result, a lot of companies were damaged economically and dismissed the employees. A lot of people lost their job. In NewYork city, the rate of losing their job was about 16% which is the worst in the recent year. Also, children lost their opportunity to take classes. It means, the SDGs goals like "Quality Education," "Decent work and Economic growth," and "Industry, Innovation and Infrastructure" were prevented to achieve by corona virus. The effect of corona virus was incredibly enormous.
Also, the black people who was infected with corona virus was discriminated. I will pick up one example. A doctor discriminated the black people because of the racism. On December in 2020, one black doctor called Susan Moore was infected with corona virus. She was in the serious symptoms. She was in difficulty breathing, vomiting blood, high fever and low blood pressure. However, the doctor did not do anything like making diagnosis or curing, even touching her. She was treated like a drug addict just because of the skin color. She told this fact through SNS, and a lot of people reacted to her post. Because of this or other accidents regard on black people discrimination, they caused a demo even if the infection of corona virus had not subsidized. I will pick up one example of demo. On June in 2020, a black man called George Floyd had received illegal violence from white police officer. He was suppressed more than necessary for about 9 minutes. And he was in the difficulty breathing. And he died. This accident bought anger from a lot of people. And it caused a demo movement called "black lives matter." From a day after that accident, there was in the corona virus pandemic, but around 15 to 25 million people joined in this demo in America. This movement had widespread around the world, not just in America.
As you can see the above sentences, corona virus have made the achievement of SDGs difficult. It deprived education and job from children and adults. Also, it caused discrimination between black and white.
Anyway, SDGs are goals for the future sustainable development. For this achievement, we all have to collaborate together. So, what can I do for achievement?
First, I can prevent discrimination. I'm not only saying the discrimination between black and white, but also such as gender discrimination, appearance discrimination or generation discrimination. There are a lot of discriminations. In the future, we have to make diverse world. We have to recognize each personality or individuality. By doing these, it will lead to solve other discriminations too like racism discrimination. It is because, this action will improve their way of thinking against discrimination.
Second, I should prevent infection like washing hands or wearing a mask. By preventing the infection by myself, it will lead to prevent the infection of the people around us. And it may lead to decrease the number of infected people. And if the number of infected people decreased, all people can take classes, and many people will not lose their job.
In summarize, I will these two to achieve SDGs by myself.
