I would like to share about "Me, the SDGs, and the world.”
First, there is a difference between Japan and Cambodia. Japan has zero hunger, but Cambodia has hunger. Japan is a friendly country about quality education, but Cambodia is an unfriendly country about quality education. In Japan, some people are equal, and some people are inequal however, Cambodia has a lot of inequalities. So I would like to introduce the details of issues.
No. 2: Zero hunger
Japan's hunger experience rate is 5.1% (1 in 20 people).
However, in Japan, food loss, where edible food is thrown away without being eaten, has been raised as a social problem. On the other hand, poverty is widespread especially in rural areas. There are many issues in Cambodia. Examples include street children, child labor, human trafficking, and child theft.
No. 4: Quality education
Japan's overall score for achieving quality education for all in 2021 was 79.8, ranking 18th in the world. However, Japan has issues such as ``loss of educational opportunities due to bullying and refusal to attend school,'' ``teacher shortage,'' and ``delays in skill development in the workplace.” On the other hand, the constitution stipulates that children must receive nine years of compulsory education, but the completion rate for elementary school is 68% for boys and 79% for girls, while for junior high school it is 41% for boys and 39% for girls, and for high school it is 20% for both boys and girls. The percentage is decreasing year by year.
No. 10: Reduce inequality
In 2021, Japan's overall achievement score for eliminating inequalities among people and countries was 79.8, ranking 18th in the world. However, Japan has issues. For example, “Income disparities are occurring even within Japan.” “Prejudice and discrimination against foreigners and people with disabilities persist," and so on. On the other hand, in Cambodia, in addition to education, there are other issues related to the status of women and discrimination. Specific issues include domestic violence, sexual violence, and human trafficking. However, behind this is an educational issue.
An action plan I can do now.
Learn more about the current situation, not only in Japan but also in other countries.
If we learn about the current situation in other countries, we can know what to do for them. And we should join more volunteer activities!! We can contribute to the world.
We can donate to developing countries. We can help people in developing countries by doing so.

あまり経験できないことだと思うのでとてもいい経験になりました!!
今後、カンボジアにいき、研修をする予定なので今回の経験を活かし子供たちと楽しく交流したいなと思います。
とってもいい経験になるので一度はやってみてください
